Our Projects

With the school set in 200 acres of park land, Verde Recreo are delighted to be working for Hazlegrove Preparatory School in Somerset. The project comprises of the re-surfacing of an existing red-gra court to provide a new artificial turf hockey practice pitch, alongside a multi use tarmac court for tennis and netball.

Bristol University will soon have a new state of the art, artifcial hockey pitch. Verde Recreo have won the contract to remove the worn out water based pitch at the Coombe Dingle and install a high spec sand filled synthetic turf.

We will be replacing the worn out hockey pitch at King's School in Bruton with a state of the art, sand filled, mono filament hockey carpet. The project is taking place over the Summer holidays for completion by September.

As part of the re-building of Nailsea School, Verde Recreo have been asked to provide a 106m x 71m artificial pitch. Working for Carillion, in partnership with North Somerset  Council, we will be installing a 3G surface, tested for both football and hockey use.

Verde Recreo have started building the artificial turf pitch for the MOD in Corsham, near Bath. We are excited to be working for Laing O'Rourke who are the main contractor on this large capital project. The pitch is 97.4m x 63m and will be surfaced with a 24mm sand filled grass.

CONTRACT AWARDED, STARTING JULY 2010
Phase 2 of this project will commence once the old school has been demolished. Verde Recreo will be installing a full sized, sand filled artificial pitch to complete the sports provision on this flagship project by Bam Construction.

Verde Recreo are looking forward to working again for Somerset County Council at Oakfield School in Frome. The project comprises of a 40m x 36m acrylic sprayed macadam MUGA. The courts will be fenced with a twinbar system and marked out for tennis, netball, basketball and football

Verde Recreo are installing a 40m x 40m, 3rd generation football training pitch, for Yatton Junior Football Club. The project includes a twinbar perimeter fence, floodlighting and upgrading works to the car park.

Verde Recreo have commenced work at Filton High School. The school is being entirely re-built and we have been asked to provide a 77m x 37m porous macadam MUGA, for tennis, netball and basketball use.

We are delighted to announce that we have completed the new sand dressed hockey pitches for Monkton Prep School in Bath. This long awaited facility, comprising of over 9000m2 of artificial grass, was completed in 16 weeks and is ready to be enjoyed at the start of the new term.

Working for Somerset County Council Verde Recreo have constructed a new multi sports facility incorporating 2 MUGAS, a sand filled ATP, a polymeric sprint straight and 4 macadam tennis courts.

The construction of a multi sports facility incorporating 4 new Category 4 Netball courts and a 3^rd generation football pitch all with fencing and floodlighting, along with a 1000m2 semi permanent sports hall with polyurethane sports flooring.

The construction of a 60m x 35m sand filled artificial grass multi use games area, incorporating drainage, rebound fencing and access paths

Verde Recreo have completed the contract to upgrade the existing MUGA at the Usk Campus of Coleg Gwent.

Verde Recreo were engaged to provide the specialist sports surfacing as part of the new multi-school campus at Burnley.
