Elstree School MUGA

Description

Playing on a worn out artificial grass carpet is no fun, and can be dangerous if they become slippery. This was the case with Elstree School's multi use games area, which was presenting a risk of accidents when wet.They contacted Verde Recreo at the end of November, with the challenge of replacing the old carpet with a new one, ready for the start of the Spring Term in January.

We like challenges at Verde, and once we had managed to source the sand dressed artficial grass at this short notice it was all systems go. As soon as the School broke up for Christmas the old carpet was rolled up and recycled, with the installation of the new carpet completed on Christmas Eve.

We returned in the New Year to install the sand, despite the wet weather, and made the deadline with days to spare.
