The success of any sports facility depends not only on the correct choice of surface but also on the design of the layout, fencing and floodlighting and the provision of good quality equipment.
Design
Consideration of pitch location, levels, access ramps and paths, equipment storage, spectator areas and car parking is vital to the smooth functioning of a new facility. We provide a complete design service and have the in house capability to produce CAD drawings from concept to construction.
Fencing
We offer a number of different sports fencing solutions and provide guidance as to the most appropriate for your end use. The most popular systems incorporated are:
Weldmesh
This is the basic sports fence solution and is typically installed for hockey and tennis facilities. It can be installed to varying heights, usually between 2.75m and 5m and with or without a kickboard
358 Rebound
This is a robust fencing system, suitable for areas where football is to be played or security an issue. It comprises of a closely meshed rebound panel to a height of 1.2m with standard weld mesh above to the finished height. It can be combined with both kick and hip boards to provide a really resilient solution.
Twinbar
The twinbar solution provides a robust fence to the full elevation height. Each panel comprises vertical bars sandwiched between twin horizontal bars. It is suitable for tennis, hockey and multi-use applications and can be combined with a kickboard. For football use we recommend a twinbar rebound system, which incorporates a more closely barred section to the bottom 1.2m.
Floodlighting
In order to maximize potential revenue in a new or re-developed sporting facility, floodlighting is a vital component.
Subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents, a well designed floodlighting system will bring any facility to life and need not have a negative impact on the surrounding community.
Verde Recreo install the most modern floodlights which can be up to 50% cheaper to run and are designed to keep light overspill to a minimum.
Our floodlighting installations are maintenance free as they come with a 10 year warranty which covers the luminaires.
