At Verde Recreo we offer both artificial grass and acrylic coated macadam tennis surfaces to suit performance requirements and cost constraints.
Artificial Grass
The artificial grass surfaces allow for high standards of tennis to be played.
A short pile height artificial turf with a dense low slide resistance yarn is laid without a shock pad and infilled with sand. This gives the courts excellent characteristics in terms of ball speed and bounce.
Porous Macadam
Porous macadam courts are an alternative to artificial surfaces.
The surface is designed so that the water percolates through the macadam enabling the court to be playable even after periods of heavy rain.
Acrylic paint can be applied to the surface in varying colours to give players additional slip resistance.
Macadam courts are very low maintenance, whilst still providing a high performance tennis surface.
